How a new Star Trek TV series could work

Simon Gallagher over at Obsessed With Film has written an excellent account of how a new Star Trek series could be (and should be) made in this brave new world of Science Fiction TV.

Although I don't agree with his views on the new JJ Abrams Star Trek reboot (which I think has brought the entire idea of Star Trek back to life), I do agree with his observations regarding the franchise in general. Read his article here.
